NPS provides engineering consulting services and turn-key solutions to prevent/mitigate external corrosion of pipelines and storage tanks across several industries (Oil and Hazardous Liquids, Natural Gas, Water and Wastewater, and Industrial Chemical). We work with our clients to comply with federal/state regulations and improve safety and operational integrity by utilizing cathodic protection and coatings engineering/design, construction/inspection, field surveys, and troubleshooting/maintenance.
The Data Processing Technician is an entry level position, working as a part of the Data Processing group to analyze field data and generate final graphs and reports for client projects.
Essential Duties
Analyze Data from Pipeline Field Surveys in Accordance with Federal and State Regulations (DOT, PHMSA, etc.).
Generate Final Field Data Graphs and Reports for Client Projects.
Maintain Records and Databases in Accordance with Federal and State Regulations.
Contribute to Federal and Client-Directed Audit Requests of Field Data Records and Databases.
Assist Troubleshooting Documented Deficiencies.
Utilize Proprietary and Standard Data Software Packages and Databases.
Job Requirements
Background: Computer Science, Engineering, Science, or Technology
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
Preferred: AutoCad Experience
